Eastenders
Hackney Community College is a general further education (FE) college in the London Borough of Hackney. It was established in 1992, through the merger of the borough's sixth form centre, FE college and adult education service.
Collaboration
Back in the late nineties we had the good luck to work with a visionary client that encouraged us to try new ways to connect with local people. In the five years that we worked together the college was oversubscribed every September.
Early digital techniques
Along the way we ran digital marketing campaigns that used very early viral techniques, built microsites that used early user generated content, and launched integrated media campaigns that reached record responses.
Great clients
Much of what we learned in that period has been honed and polished and put to use with other clients. But the real lesson we learned is that really effective work only comes from working with great clients.
