At UXB, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to our web site. In particular, we want you to know that we are not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. We just don’t do that sort of thing. In this Privacy Policy, we’ve provided information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.
Types of data we collect
Cookies
UXB may use "cookies" in order to personalise delivery of content based on your experience with our website.
When you take part in the UXB website, we may assign your computer browser a unique random number called a "cookie". We may also use flash cookies, which are managed as browser add-ons. Cookies enhance our website by allowing you faster access to the information you are seeking and by enabling us to provide suitable offers based on your experience with our site and products.
Your privacy and security are not compromised when you accept a cookie from our website. A cookie simply contains a large random number which in itself does not contain any personal information and any information you submit in the registration section of the website will not be contained within the cookie data.
Cookies from our server cannot read data from your computer's hard disc or read cookie files from other websites or write any information to your hard disc. They simply make the website easier for you to use.
The use of cookies is an industry standard, and many major web sites use them to provide useful features for their customers. Each web site can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a web site to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.
You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set. (Each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences.)
Flash cookies can be disabled or the data held deleted by changing your browser add-on settings or by visiting the website of the add-on manufacturer. If you reject all cookies, you may not be able to receive personalised information on our website.
Google analytics
When someone visits www.uxblondon.com.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Personal information
We will keep your information confidential except where disclosure is required or permitted by law (for example to government bodies and law enforcement agencies). Generally, we will only use your information within UXB. However, sometimes UXB uses third parties to process your information. UXB requires these third parties to comply strictly with its instructions and UXB requires that they do not use your personal information for their own business purposes, unless you have explicitly consented to the use of your personal information in this way.
Your email address is used to only send you information that you have requested. UXB adheres strictly to permission-based email policy. UXB will not send you unsolicited email information, commercial offers or advertisements. UXB will not sell, rent, or loan our contact lists or our customer's contact lists (including customer data) to any outside firms. All emails that you have requested will have an option to unsubscribe. Unsubscribe requests are fulfilled within minutes and no further communications will be sent to users who have stated that they do not wish to receive the specified information.
Mailing list
As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a few reasons: to tell you about things you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, Campaign Monitor, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see Campaign Monitor's Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.
